Journal Monitor

The Journal Monitor feature in Uniwell Lynx provides a live view of the sales journal in your AX/HX terminals. This allows you to watch the sales as they are entered. If you have multiple AX/HX terminals they can all be monitored and you can switch between terminals to view the journal. To access this feature go to Communications > Journal Monitor.

Note: The journal data is only stored while the Journal Monitor screen is open. When you close the Journal Monitor screen the journal data is discarded.

Configuring Your AX/HX Terminal for Journal Monitor

To configure your AX/HX terminal for Journal Monitor go to Configure > External Device then select Journal Data Transfer from the dropdown list. Tick the Device Enable checkbox for JDT 01, set the Connect option to Ethernet and then enter the IP address of your computer.

Note: We recommend using the default Port Number of 9333. If you use a different Port Number you will need to change the 'AX/HX Journal Data Transfer Port Number' setting in Uniwell Lynx (Setup > Preferences > Communications).
